MY BIO

Shelly Shalev is a Fashion Business Management student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, currently in her Senior and final year of studies. Shelly's work experience is very diverse and includes a few different positions in childcare, hospitality, and retail. Shelly also served in the Intelligence Corps of the IDF, where she learned disciple and teamwork. During her studies at FIT, Shelly has acquired further professional experience, working a few different jobs on campus as well as participating in a product development internship with Saturdays NYC. 

 

Shelly's desire to succeed and stand out has always been a part of her journey and brought her to different leadership roles in her professional past and within the college community. She feels that leadership is one of her strongest qualities and hopes to use that skill for the rest of her college career, as well as in her future career in the fashion industry.

Shelly's main goal for the future is to help transform the fashion industry and be a part of a greener and more sustainable future. She believes that as the future of the industry, it is her generation's responsibility the raise awareness and promote positive change.
